Flat shipping: $20 (materials included). We ship year-round by UPS Ground from Kingston, NY to most areas within 1–3 days. Check the map: yellow and brown areas are covered, and many green areas too. Some places (e.g., Colorado) take longer — email us and we’ll check your zone.
Winter perk! When temperatures drop below freezing, we expand coverage and can ship across the northern U.S. at the same rate.
Outside covered zones or in the western/southern U.S. (e.g., Los Angeles) in non-winter months? Email for a shipping quote. Want different tempeh varieties than those listed? Message us after ordering and we’ll adjust your order.
Note: Tempeh ships frozen and may arrive partially thawed. Keep frozen or refrigerated on receipt.

We use only organic ingredients: Organic beans (depending on variety), apple cider vinegar, starter culture (rhizopus oligosporus, rice powder). (The amount of rice amounts to literally one tiny speck per brick- less than one grain).

Orders are shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (this may be limited during a holiday week).

We ship from Kingston, NY via UPS Ground to many U.S. states (see map at top) and charge a flat rate of $20, which includes our environmentally-friendly shipping materials.

NOTE: Product will be shipped frozen and will arrive partially defrosted. It must be frozen or refrigerated upon receipt.

We ship with environmentally friendly materials—recyclable paper-based insulators and EcoDrain gel packs that can be cut open and the contents put right down the drain, once defrosted.
