Tempeh Preparation & Storage
Tempeh prep
Tempeh is incredibly versatile. Use it in:
Tacos
Reubens and other sandwiches
Italian dishes, including Bolognese sauce
Asian dishes
Salads
Our favorite cooking method:
Slice thin.
Fry in olive oil on medium-low heat.
Flip when golden. Add soy sauce, coconut aminos, or spices.
Serve plain or dip in BBQ sauce, pesto, or ketchup.
Other prep ideas:
Marinate in Italian flavors (lemon, garlic, capers) or Asian-style sauces (soy, ginger, lemongrass).
Simmer in broth with garlic, onions, and ginger.
Make your own tempeh bacon or pepperoni—just slice, marinate, and fry!
